The MAG544w3 takes care of restarting itself so you may watch movies in stunning 4K resolution without interruption. The set-top box may run for months without being restarted due to the powerful Amlogic S905Y4 system-on-chip (SoC) that features four ARM Cortex-A35 cores.
The MAG544w3 gives you access to 4K video, allowing you to experience high-definition content in stunning clarity. The volumetric sound is so clear that it elevates the experience to a whole new level. The eight-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ sound will wow you when used with a modern TV and sound system. Set-top boxes employing the H.256 codec are able to function without stuttering or playback interruptions, even over a sluggish Internet connection.
There are two USB ports for adding more devices or accessories. It’s also easy to go online, whether through a hardwired Ethernet connection or a wireless Wi-Fi hotspot. The Micro Fusion aesthetic of the STB makes it a stylish addition to any room’s decor.

What is new in the MAG544w3, compared to the 2 predecessors, the MAG424w1 and MAG324w2?There is an increase in power from the MAG424w1 to the MAG544w3. The MAG324w2 cannot play 4K HDR material via the internet, although this is not the case with online content.
The newest model has a Wi-Fi module that can transmit at both 2.4 GHz (up to 100 Mbps) and 5 GHz frequencies (up to 550 Mbps).
